First of all, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Edi Nofendra, an experienced professional with more than 22 years working in a state-owned oil and gas enterprise. I am presently as a Pre FEED, FEED and Design Senior Engineer at PT Pertamina EP Zone 9 at Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Apart from being a Senior Engineer, I am currently also assigned as a Project Manager for the Tanjung NBD Project which is located in the Tanjung Field, South Kalimantan. In 2018 I joined the Tanjung Water Flood Project, PT Pertamina EP, as Chief of Construction and Commissioning where I was involved in the planning, procurement, construction and commissioning stages of the project. Since 2012 I had been involved in the maintenance function of production facilities at PT Pertamina EP Tarakan Field, Bunyu Field and Jatibarang Field. When I was assigned to the Jatibarang Field, I had the opportunity to carry out the maintenance of offshore production facilities, namely in the X-Ray field which is part of the working area of the Jatibarang Field, West Java.
In line with the AKHLAK Values, I try to improve myself. I often take short courses both offline and online. One of the courses I took was a course through Coursera entitled The Sustainable Development Goals – A global, transdisciplinary vision for the Future, given by Prof. Katherine Richardson, Suistanability Science Centre, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. After taking this course, I made a short paper entitled The Role of the Individual in Achieving the SDGs Goals.
Lastly, with all the experiences and technical competencies that I have to offer, I would like to step up to new challenges through my organization. My commitment to excellence, coupled with my solid management background, where I have accomplished Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and leadership skills in delivering the best results under challenging environments will be of immediate value for my organization in facing its role as the next leading International energy Company in the world.
