Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Project Management

Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project management is the process of planning and coordinating the early phase of engineering projects to establish a solid foundation for successful execution. Its primary objectives are to define the project's scope, technical requirements, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, and operational standards. A key focus is on maintaining high quality in engineering designs and feasibility studies, coupled with accurate cost estimates and a realistic project schedule. By integrating cost management and schedule control, FEED project management minimizes risks, avoids costly modifications in later stages, and ensures that the project remains technically viable, economically feasible, and on track for timely completion.

About Jerry

Jerry brings 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, expertise includes 11 years in O&G upstream company and 9 years in EPCI Company and engineering consultancy.  Progressing from Structural Engineer, Naval Architect, Facility Engineer, Team Leader, and Project Manager, this experience spans offshore and onshore facility development—including offshore platforms, deepwater structures, SURF, floating systems and onshore production facilities.  Proficiencies cover all project phases, including conceptual design, Plan of Development (POD), FEED, EPCI, as well as O&M for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
