Symex 2022 in Bandung
At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, we ran our last Symposium and Exhibition (Symex) in Semarang, Central Java. Despite the disruptions, the event attracted 144 attendees, with 10 international speakers and with 10 VIP guests arriving from Singapore, Malaysia, Poland, USA, Japan and China. Around 42% of the total attendees were returning participants from different industries, such as telecommunication, IT, oil and gas, construction, government and education sector.
This year, as governments gain better control of the pandemic, the Project Management Institute Indonesia Chapter will organize the 10th Symposium and Exhibition on Project Management (Symex 2022) in the city of Bandung , West Java, Indonesia. The event will take place on 5-6 October 2022. An online track is also available on 4 October 2022. This symposium is themed as "Faster. Higher. Stronger-Together", and packed with knowledge on key topics in project management such as:
- Sustainability in Project Management
- Managing Knowledge and Innovation
- Skills for the Future of Work
- Risk Management in the New Normal
- Digital Transformation Projects
The event also will feature booths for companies to showcase their products and services. Probably a key benefit of the event is that it provides networking opportunities for the attendees as they enjoy the serene, yet buzzing city of Bandung, along with its richness in history, culture and delicious cuisines.
