Supply Chain Strategy Using Big Data
Industry 4.0, IOT or Big Data have been very popular and always a hot topic for discussion in the industry. However the implementation in our daily work sometimes is unclear, due to applicability and lack of understanding for the usage, except in industries that primarily work with Big Data.
In the discussion, we will learn what is Big Data, what is the requirement and how to implement in the work environment. Last but not least is how we prepare our organization and people to embrace Big Data, and what should we do individually to prepare for the new way of working.

Soerjo Winarto
Supply Chain Professional
Soerjo Winarto is an experienced Professional in Supply Chain. For over 25 years Soerjo has worked both in the operational and strategic Supply Chain management for FMCG industry. During his career, he has worked on number of positions at senior management level in multinational company, Johnson & Johnson and Danone, and leading local consumer goods company, Indofood and Wings. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for ITS Industrial Engineering Department.
In the last three years , he has been learning Big Data Analytics, and able to use Python to do both supervised and non supervised learning analytic. He also participated in BNI Data Hackaton and finished in top 15% participant in 2020.
His area of expertise are supply chain collaboration, S&OP, supply and demand planning, and supply chain optimization: simulation and modeling. He has played active roles in the SAP R/3, SAP APO, and Manugistics implementation.
He has CPIM and CSCP certification from APICS, Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and Bachelor of Engineering from ITS.
